About Me

My photo
beachbreak1
I'm a senior ocean engineering major at the University of Rhode Island whose about to graduate in less than 3 months...still can't believe I'm almost done with school. After I graduate I'm going to take a few months off and then work at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, Rhode Island. I grew up on Cape Cod so naturally I've always been around the beach and plan to keep it that way (one of the reasons I'll be living in Newport, lol). I started surfing somewhere around 5 years ago and try to paddle out every chance I get. It's been tough trying to balance all the work I get with engineering and doing what I would like to as a college student (going out, surfing, etc.) but somehow I've managed to make it work. I'm excited about what the rest of my life can bring and how much enjoyment I can get out of it. I look forward to each and every day.
